Terms of use

1. Overview

Access to, and use of, any part of the fxSolver website (or "the Website"), any document, material or other information, including text, mathematical equations, images, sound and software (hereinafter "Content") made available on the Website, as well as any of the services provided via the Website (hereinafter "Services") are governed by these terms and conditions of use (hereinafter "Terms and Conditions") and constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the user.

Other Terms and Conditions may also apply in addition to the following Terms and Conditions (in particular Wikimedia Foundation’s Terms and Conditions or others), irrespective of whether or not these Terms and Conditions expressly refer to such other terms and conditions.

fxSolver is a website supported by Equanalysis UG, which allows the user to search for mathematical equations or combinations of mathematical equations and solve them. The results are presented in the form of numerical values and/or visual representations of information, e.g. as a chart or diagram, and thus, contribute to free knowledge sharing. fxSolver contains licensed Content from the Wikipedia website and material from other sources presented under license. Therefore, all of fxSolver’s Content is provided by users/authors of fxSolver or is provided by Third Parties. We generally do not monitor or edit the Content of fxSolver and we do not take any responsibility for this Content. Similarly, we do not endorse any opinions expressed via our services, and we do not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any submitted Content. Instead, we simply provide access to content that users/authors have contributed to and edited on the Wikipedia website or any other organization contributing contend to fxSolver.

The user of fxSolver is legally responsible for the use he/she makes of the content from fxSolver. Equanalysis UG cannot offer any protection, guarantee, immunity or indemnification.

fxSolver’s content, originating from the Wikipedia website can be used under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (“CC BY-SA”) and GNU Free Documentation License (“GFDL”) or any other similar, compatible license. These licenses let others re-distribute, remix, edit and build upon one’s work, even for commercial purposes, as long as credit is properly given and as long as the new creation is licensed under the identical terms. fxSolver’s content originating from other sources might be protected by copyright laws and/or license restrictions; thus the user is required to contact the license or copyright holder in order to acquire permission for further use of that content.

6. Modification of Content by the user

Further modification of the content presented in form of fxSolver Worksheets is allowed to the registered user of fxSolver and is accessible only by the user or third parties authorized by the user. Such modification does not alter the original content hosted in the fxSolver website since each Worksheet is a copy of the original content. The elaborated Worksheet will be hosted in fxSolver’s Servers for future access only by the registered user or authorized by the user third parties. However, we remind you that fxSolver does not monitor, edit or endorse any content generated and subsequently stored in our Servers and does not take any responsibility for this content.

7. Technical errors and malfunctions, availability

The development team of fxSolver aims at minimizing technical errors and malfunctions. However, some Content may have been created or structured in files or formats that are not error-free, and some Services may have errors contained in their program code. Equanalysis UG (haftungsbeschränkt) cannot guarantee that the underlying code, files and the formats used are error-free and will not cause products and systems based on information from fxSolver to malfunction. Moreover, any of the Intellectual Property rights that are mentioned, used or cited in the Website are the property of their respective owners. Unless otherwise stated fxSolver is neither endorsed by nor affiliated with any of the holders of any such rights. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not infringe any such or similar incorporeal property.

10. Personality rights

fxSolver might contain material which may portray an identifiable person who is alive orrecently deceased. The use of images of living or recently deceased individuals is, in some jurisdictions, restricted by laws pertaining to personality rights, independent from their copyright status. Before using these types of content, please ensure that you have the right to use it under the laws which apply in circumstances of you intended use. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not infringe someone else’s personality rights.

11. Disputes and Jurisdiction

In the event there is a dispute, a friendly resolution must be sought between Equanalysis UG and the user. However, in case of legal claim against fxSolver, the user hereby agrees to file and resolve it exclusively in Berlin, Germany and that the German laws govern these Terms of Use, as well as any legal claim that might arise between the user and Equanalysis UG (haftungsbeschränkt) (without reference to conflict of laws principles).

12. Disclaimer

Please be advised that the information is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis; nothing found here has necessarily been reviewed by people with the expertise required to provide the user with complete, accurate or reliable information. 13. Limitation on Liability
