Parallel Plate Capacitor
Description
A capacitor is an electrical/electronic device that can store energy in the electric field between a pair of conductors. The simplest capacitor consists of two parallel conductive plates separated by a dielectric (such as air) with permittivity ε . Capacitance increases with area of the plates, and decreases as separation between plates increases.
